AYA VIP Programme Class of 2023
It has begun!
We successfully launched the second season of the AYA Volunteer Internship Programme (VIP) with the Year 11 Class of 2023 Victory Academy Students. The Orientation session proved to be a valuable opportunity for us to introduce the heart and purpose behind the VIP Programme. Our Founder, Kenneth Chin, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the VIPs and Trainers as they prepared for the upcoming 7 weeks.
To break the ice and foster a sense of camaraderie, we organized fun games for the VIPs, which allowed everyone to get to know each other and discover each other’s hidden talents. The atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable, with everyone having a great time.
What industry shall I join?
During the session, our AYA Trainers took the opportunity to introduce themselves and share their expertise and passion with the students. This gave the students a glimpse into the various industries they could potentially explore during their attachment. This season, we have eight industries involved, including Flatfish Media (Video Production), Design, Information Technology, Victory Academy (Education), Little Legends Childcare Centre, Revo Store (Merchandising), LINetS (Suicide Prevention), and NewSong Music (Music Production).
AYA Office Tour
To conclude the orientation, we conducted an office tour of Basecamp, Summit USJ, our main headquarters. The students were captivated as Shirley Wong, our administrator, shared the rich history and legacy of Asian Youth Ambassadors (AYA).
